(1) 「AはBに起因する」が、以下のように訳される場合があります。
A is associated with B.
(2)「相互作用Aの相互作用定数」が、以下のように訳される場合があります。（例えば、あるカレント相互作用の相互作用定数を）
The coupling constant associated with the interaction A.
“associate with~”は、”～と関連する”という意味だと思います。
しかし、上の2文は、”~と関連する”という意味には完全に一致しないと思います。
(2)については、associated withより直接的な意味だと思います。
(1) 「AはBに起因する」の英訳として「A is associated with B」が適切な場合はあまりないと思われます。
普段、「AはBに起因する」は「A arises from B」、「A is due to B」、「A is caused by B」、「A results from B」など、と訳されます。
(2) 「相互作用Aの相互作用定数」は、「The coupling constant associated with the interaction A」と訳すのが全く不適切とは言えませんが、「The coupling constant for the interaction A」の方が適切とされる場合が多いでしょう。
