不定代名詞である「someone」、「anyone」、「everyone」、「no one」の語が時おり誤って用いられるのを目にします。ここでもっとも留意していただきたい点は、これらの代名詞は必ず人を指し、人以外のものを指すことができないということです*。以下に、それらの語によく見られる誤用例とその修正例を挙げます。
