Dr. Daniel J. Kota

• Dr. Kota is a distinguished, award-winning medical researcher with 15+ years of research expertise in various scientific fields including regenerative medicine, immunology, stem cells, basic, translational and clinical research, mammalian cell culture, and molecular biology.
• Dr. Kota pursued his Ph.D. from the Institute of Regenerative medicine, USA, and started working as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Paediatric Surgery, University of Texas, USA. He was further appointed as the Assistant Research Scientist at the Sanford Health Research where he focused on translational research.
• As an Associate Scientist at Emory University, he spearheaded activities such as cGMP manufacturing, bench to bed process development, regulatory compliance (FACT, FDA), and project management.
• Dr. Kota is currently the Director at Ann Kimball & John W. Johnson Center for Cellular Therapeutics, Houston Methodist, USA. He also serves on the editorial board as a reviewer for reputed journals such as the Progressive Science Research Journal, Stem Cell Translational Medicine, and the Journal of International Medical Research. Additionally, he is also a member of the Neurotrauma Society and the International Society for Stem Cell Research.
• To date, Dr. Kota has published several research papers in top-notch international journals such as Elsevier, Cell Press, German Society for Stem Cell Research, and Nature Publishing Group. He is also a recipient of 3 grants and multiple awards for best poster at conferences.
